Lisa the painful
This game has the best depiction of trauma and adiction i've ever seen
I won't be going over those nor will i spoil anything in my review,
but i will be about the things i love about this franchise
And i mean this in a very positive way.
If you've played this game you will not be able to say the name of another game with more unique characters.
Story
I believe this is the strongest point of lisa.
Now the sequel (Lisa the joyful)is a little rough about the edges about this but it's still enjoyable
Gameplay
For a rpg it's got a fun combat.
My favorite gameplay mechanic is the choice to use joy or not.
To be able to make the player weaker by the cause of their own moral standpoint is brilliant.
My least favorite mechanic is the exploration aspect.Sure, meeting colorul(more like depressed) people
and wacky envierments is fun.But it's exploration is just walking simulator untilly you find where you have to go.
Now that will turn off a lot of people at the begging and i dont blame them.
Music
You know how games pick one music genre and stick
with it?Well that not the case for lisa
this game samples chains and wierd noises to make it's music.There will be melachonic music
like [My summer love] but then there will be [Blood for S]which will raise hair on youre skin
P.S dont look up music or anything other that steam page about the game
or else you'll be spoiled
